Las películas de seguridad son películas con un adhesivo de alta adherencia que evita la fragmentación de vidrio manteniéndolo unido, disminuyendo probabilidades de intrusión o robos y de accidentes por astillas o esquirlas del cristal.
Están disponibles tanto en incoloras o con color o tonos no reflejantes o metalizados para dar propiedades de control solar también, así mismo se manejan espesores de: 4, 8 y 10 milésimas de pulgada.
